Together with Pepy, a Cambodian non-profit committed to education, 20 riders will make their way around Cambodia on a 13-day tour over the winter holidays (Dec. 27-Jan.11) Riders will raise funds ($500 each) for education initiatives in rural Cambodia and NGO projects.
Cyclists will be accompanied by a tour guide as they travel around the country and learn about international development, Cambodia’s history and culture and meet with local NGO leaders as they take in the sights and sounds of the country.
Interested people can apply through the Global Agents for Change website (www.globalafc.com/projects). The first deadline for applications is Sept. 1, 2009 with riders receiving a $100 discount off their trip fee. Riders can also direct any inquiries about the ride to info@globalafc.org.
